How about this to help with your New Year’s Resolutions!

Whether you ate too many goodies during your vacation or you just decided that back to work means to get back into shape or you fell off the fitness wagon over the holidays, how about using this approach.

Do 3 exercises each day for a month!!

I have provided a short video demonstrating these exercises which are interspersed with a cardio burst that you can do each day and it will take you less than 30 minutes!

  • The warm-up is the same as the cardio burst and it is easy! It is a step up onto an aerobic step or the stairs in your house.  You warm up for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Then do the first exercise a squat with a leg and arm raises. Do 8 to 12 repetitions then do another cardio burst of the step ups but doing them a little faster this time for 30 seconds to a minute.
  • Then do the second exercise of a one legged bicep curl. Again do 8-12 reps then you do your cardio burst of step ups for 30 seconds to a minute.
  • Then the 3rd exercise which is a timed plank of 30seconds which you build up each time by 5 seconds until you are up to a minute or perhaps after a week or two you may be up to 2 minutes. After the plank you move on to the cardio burst of 30 seconds or perhaps you have built that up to a minute also.

Once you have done that one time thru then you go back and do it two more times.  Three sets of 8 to 12 reps with a cardio burst after each exercise.
